What we do

Full-service accounting, without the big-firm runaround

Whether you need a return filed, books cleaned up, or someone standing between you and the IRS — it's handled here.

Business & Individual Tax Planning

Proactive strategy that lowers your liability legally — decided in advance, not reverse-engineered at the filing deadline.

Client Advisory Services

A financial sounding board for the decisions that don't fit neatly on a return — entity choice, owner comp, growth, exit.

IRS Payment Plans

Behind on a balance? We structure installment agreements you can actually live with and get the notices to stop.

Bookkeeping Services

Monthly books kept current and reconciled, so your numbers are ready when a lender, a buyer, or the IRS asks for them.

Payroll Services

Paychecks, withholdings, and filings run on time and in compliance — across every state where you have people.

IRS Representation

Audit letter or dispute? As a CPA I can represent you directly before the IRS. You don't take that meeting alone.

Who you'll be working with

You hire the CPA. You get the CPA.

I'm Ben O'Malley, Managing Partner at Oceanside CPA LLC. I've spent over eight years in tax advising, consulting, and bookkeeping — and I built this firm around a simple idea: the person who understands your situation should be the person you can actually reach.

No account managers, no handoffs to a junior in February. When you call, you get me.

  • Licensed Certified Public Accountant
  • 8+ years in tax planning, preparation, and advisory
  • Filing in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and DC
  • Experience across real estate, construction, and service businesses
How it works

Three steps, no mystery

You should know exactly what happens next before you ever send a document.

1

Intro call

Twenty minutes on the phone. You tell me the situation, I tell you honestly whether I'm the right fit and roughly what it costs.

2

Review & plan

I look at your prior returns and books, then come back with what I'd change — the specific opportunities and the exposure.

3

Ongoing work

Filing, bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory on a set schedule — with check-ins during the year, not just at the deadline.

Take control of your financial future.

Call, text, or send a message — most inquiries get a response the same business day.

Common questions

Before you call

Do I have to be local to work with you?

No. Most of the work happens by phone, email, and secure file exchange. I'm licensed to file in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and DC, and plenty of clients never set foot in an office.

I'm behind on filing. Is that a problem?

It's common, and it's fixable. Unfiled returns and IRS balances are a large part of what I handle. The sooner we start, the more options are on the table — penalties and interest keep running either way.

What does it cost?

It depends on entity type, complexity, and whether you need ongoing work or a one-time filing. I'll give you a straight number on the intro call rather than making you guess from a pricing page.

Can you take over from my current accountant?

Yes, and it's usually smoother than people expect. I'll request prior returns and records, review what was filed, and flag anything worth amending before we move forward.

Can you represent me if I get audited?

Yes. CPAs have unlimited practice rights before the IRS, so I can represent you directly in an audit, appeal, or collections matter — including matters that started before you became a client.
